Moderators Needed(By the Community's Request)

So along with the more social needs of a moderator that have been discussed, it has become apparent by the recent spam attack that protection against such threats at this point is highly inadequate. If a moderator is going to fill the position, we need to get on it, because as of now, we have no active moderation. Reporting posts and having them deleted the next day really isn't my idea of adequate protection, and this is coming from someone who has a very limited philosophy of moderation.
Now I'm the last person that would ask for this, so Tatt, if you're reading, take that as a sign that something needs to be done. We appreciate your help, but you're not on all the time(And you can't really be expected to be) and you can't handle everything on your own. That's just the nature of a forum this size. As an admin on a business's site, it is your responsibility to maintain a decent environment, and the responsible thing to do would be to get some help.
It's a universally accepted(by most members) belief that we need an active member to be promoted, so make your choice, please. I'm going to try to not stick my own opinions into it, but I think it's generally agreed that we need an active member that's a veteran of the community(Been here since 2008ish), has minimalist principles, and is mature. Check out this thread for some debating on the subject if you want some community input. I'm not going to try to dictate your choice, but I believe the community should have some say in the matter.
