Eh, there is worse crap on Algobox.

EDIT: I know why now. It's because people upload stuff like this. Of course FruitMonger gets scene of the week, if he has to compete with crap like this!

I have to agree. Scenes are becoming worser. If this was for last week, i know what should be it next week. (kilinich's Niva )

I think the scene of the week isn't supposed to literally mean the highest rated/ most viewed/ best received scene of the week. But rather to give everyone a go not just the "elites".

Scene of the week is supposted to take a look at scenes made during the last week. Because we really want you all to create cool stuff all the time. But of course sometimes a recap to old scenes is necessary to.

We just want our users to see what they actually can do with Algodoo. It isn´t always about making the coolest machines, the funniest game, the most stunning scene or about using advanced scripting. It is also about making every one interested in trying Algodoo, explore physics by their own and build their first scenes feeling like they belong here.

So keep thinking and discussing Algodoo and scenes here but keep it more friendly.

I'm goes to first Kilinich's post:
Even if algobox is full of rubbish...

Yeah too much kids.

Well back to "Scene of the week".
Algobox full of kids and rubbish, Admins can't select good scenes. Well they select scene what upload one year ago.
And I read rules:
The scene must have been created during the last week. (Fridays will be the Scene of the week day)

Administration of algobox must do something to romeve account's with rubbish scenenes.

And second strange thing is being late, sometimes late one week for exposure "Scene of the week"

Algobox goes down and everyone know this...

Alright. Administrating the scenes isn´t always easy because we can´t always choose a cool machine even if we also love them. We actually encourage trying new things and shoowing new ways to use Algodoo. Do you not think that is a good idea?

And I am sorry for missing out updating scene of the week a few weeks ago. Sometimes time isn´t enough.

But, I think we have to update the rules in the following way:

* Scenes created during the last week is preferred. (However sometimes we take a look back among old scenes)

Sounds good?

Your feedback is always welcome!

No .. without kids in Algobox, we would rid of scenes like this.

Sorry about choosing this scene, But I needed something to get the point across.

Now that being said, I am completely aware that there are some really good Algodoo-ers out there who are probably < 12 years old. I've seen them, I know how good they are. I'm just saying that some scenes uploaded by kids are just complete wastes of time and space on Algobox.

So basically, you want Algobox to be some sort of elitist site where only the best are allowed to post? Shut up.

Algobox is a scene-sharing site. It's not an awesome-scene-sharing site, nor is it a private scene-sharing site. Anyone is allowed to post there, and they're allowed to post anything they want (within the rules, or course). If you don't like it, too bad. Algoryx won't make it so only certain people are allowed to post there, so grow up.

Also, just because they're kids doesn't mean they suck at Algodoo, and just because they're not kids doesn't mean they're amazing. For all you know, the person who uploaded that was 27*. Making Algobox private will never happen. I can guarantee that.

*He said he was twelve in the comments, but he still could've been.

Algobox isn't about having elite scenes with elite mechanics and pro scripts, it for educational, I thought you already knew that.

I.E Here's our little boy "Max". He's 10 years old and likes physics alot. One day, he discovers Algodoo. He saves his pocket money and buys it. He look at other people scenes to learn how things work. He creates a scene and some other kids like what he has done, even if it's a simple car, he gets excited over the feedback that he learns Algodoo fast and at the age of 11 he's building sequenced guns with animated explosions, He make ballistic computers, walkers and much more. Physics have become his favorite thing and he grows up building those stuff in real and marry a 20 year old porn star.

The End

The point was that if people like what you do, more people will get more ambitious to make better scenes. And if you still want to have elite scenes browse the popular section. (it's there for a reason)
