Woah, everyone has got me all wrong on this one. Chronos, no where in my post did I say that little kids shouldn't be allowed to post, nor did I say I wanted Algobox to be private (I don't know why you came up with that).

How many times are you going to keep saying those sorts of things? "Just because they are kids doesn't mean they suck blah blah..." I know that, I even said that.

I'm just simply saying Algobox is full of rubbish, and clearly no one on Algobox likes this rubbish. Just look at the comments.

No where did I say anything, nor even imply anything, about saying kids suck at Algodoo.

Well, yeah, I don't. And I don't care if it stays that way either. I'm just getting my point across.

No .. without kids in Algobox, we would rid of scenes like this.

Sorry about choosing this scene, But I needed something to get the point across.

Now that being said, I am completely aware that there are some really good Algodoo-ers out there who are probably < 12 years old. I've seen them, I know how good they are. I'm just saying that some scenes uploaded by kids are just complete wastes of time and space on Algobox.

Algobox isn't about having elite scenes with elite mechanics and pro scripts, it for educational, I thought you already knew that.

I.E Here's our little boy "Max". He's 10 years old and likes physics alot. One day, he discovers Algodoo. He saves his pocket money and buys it. He look at other people scenes to learn how things work. He creates a scene and some other kids like what he has done, even if it's a simple car, he gets excited over the feedback that he learns Algodoo fast and at the age of 11 he's building sequenced guns with animated explosions, He make ballistic computers, walkers and much more. Physics have become his favorite thing and he grows up building those stuff in real and marry a 20 year old porn star.

The End

The point was that if people like what you do, more people will get more ambitious to make better scenes. And if you still want to have elite scenes browse the popular section. (it's there for a reason)

Actually Algobox isn't for education. It is for everything. Whether for entertainment or a simple scene sharing to one of your friends anything goes. I agree with the general idea you have going.

Perhaps the problem is more upon everyone expecting the scene of the week to be picked through a more "professional" method. Possibly changing the name to "Developers pick of the week" Or something along those line could clear some things up in future.

I meant encouraging education, should have mentioned that but that, as you said, is one of many things algobox are.
