thanks Lester... very nice algodoo ball:D
Daedalus would be ashamed.
You should probably be more specific on the rules... I can see a lot of loopholes. I can make it fly, make it super heavy so that it crushes anything, make weapons that absolutely makes obstacles fly off the map, and even you didn't say a word against scripting. The possibilities are ENDLESS!:D I may compete if you be more specific.
Shooting myself in this life simulation explodes with money. If it was only that simple.;)
Cool scene!

illuminati confirmed
Even though I make such marble races and related things, I do admit I absolutely hate the quality of the scenes being uploaded recently... people who make good, timeworthy, productive scenes that took them about 8 hours of creativity to make, are covered up and ignored by people who spend exactly 1 minute copying other peoples scenes into their components, another 2 minutes to reassemble the "borrowed" components into something else, and another 1 minute to upload their creation onto algobox, and then another 4 minutes to do the same thing again. I have to go a couple pages onward to find a scene that I can admire and get inspired from.
[No Offense to Anyone]

Edit: I'm alright with the very simple scenes as long as its a new concept or a new idea or even anything I haven't seen in Algobox yet. However, its those scenes that use recycled ideas... sure it may be fun at first, but when everyone does the same thing its not interesting at all anymore.

To Emanuel,
I would first like to suggest maybe being able to configure the viewing of newcoming scenes that are posted on Algobox. As some others have already described solutions, I would think that we should be able to "choose" what we see and what we don't want to see, maybe by have the uploader choose mandatory tags in which that the viewer could choose if they want to see it in the "New Scenes" area. Another part to it would be, just like Youtube, to maybe get another scene feed in which your "subscribers" posted, so that you can subscribe to people who their scenes you enjoy for easy access.
Another issue would be scene spamming. People upload meaningless scenes that fill up the new feed. I propose a "scene upload cap" that limits the amount of scenes that could be uploaded, for example, maybe one could upload a scene for every 1 hour(maybe also a comment cap... since people spam those too). This ensures a better, less cluttered, Algobox where there are less spammed scenes.

Participating!

I think.
Real. (Or at least I think I am...)
Can you give credit to me for the LMS tower. I'm sure you read Xray's notice. As for myself, I don't care if people ask permission (as it is all free), I just need the credit. Thanks!
I have to agree with you InsertNameHere. Even though I do post marble races sometimes, I believe that people are just being stupid when they spam stuff that takes them 1 minute to make, thinking that people actually enjoy their useless scenes, otherwise basically just re-uploading other people's ideas and repeating. I have been staying inactive for a bit since I really don't want to pick sides and be involved of some sort of mini cyber civil war.
Not trying to be rude or anything, but is there a point in uploading a not complete race that no one should test out? Wouldn't it be better to complete it first before uploading?
