This is rally cool, faytree! GOOD JOB!

I have just a few suggestions:
1. Disable the clouds. They serve no useful purpose in this type of scene.
2. Use "keysIsDown" instead of collide for decoding keyboard keys.
3. Use other keys besides "Shift-A" and "Shift-Z" because those key combinations are kind of awkward to do. Why not use something simple and more sensible such as the UP and DOWN arrow keys?

You don't need to make any of those changes, if you don't want to, of course. They are only suggestions, and you may want to do something different.

In any case, I like the scene, and it works very well.

Welp,about your suggestions:
1.Oh,sorry! I forgot to turn off the clouds
2.Keys.IsDown is too difficult to make one and it doesn't trigger once when it's pressed,i triggers the code like 300 times per second when it's pressed
3.Haha,you don't need to press "Shift-A" or "Shift-Z" you just need to press "a" to upshift and press "z" to downshift

Oh, I read that wrong! I read it as Up = "Shift A" instead of "Up Shift" = A! HA HA HA HA!

keysIsDown triggers only once with each keypress when the code is located in onKey. Also, I think using keysIsDown is easier than adding an axle and an extra collide box for each key. That's the OLD way of decoding keys in Algodoo!

Xray, believe me, it's not so easy. If it was like that, I wouldn't have done the simple shifter . If you do that, it'll shift like lightspeed I've tried, and maybe it's only on my comp, but it doesn't shift once.

But this is cool, faytree. just one thing: 1st gear works like 5th in real life, because 1st gear should REDUCE rpm's a lot, and 5th should be closer to direct.
Or you can just inverse the output and the input...?

I mean that first gear is too big. in this gearbox, first gear seems almost direct, but in real life (and to make it usable here too) you need to make that when you're in first gear, the input spins like 2 or 3 times faster than the output. And last gear should be direct or so
