Scene tag

An air engine using a modified Wankel Rotary gear system. It is modified to allow only a single intake and exhaust port. The scene is not an actual air powered engine, just a model of how it would work.

I thought about making a spawn engine out of this with your permission ?
BUT its all stuck to the background so never mind:tdown:
Step one if you REALY want to be a respected engine builder, start with a background part that's not glued to anything, fixtate THAT to the background for the build process and build on top of the base part, then later the engine can be mounted with springs or axles for vibration testing or even to a vehicle;)
Don't get me wrong, I really like your work but this is a classic mistake that all new users seem to make:cool:

Well, I couldnt control the gluing... I actually intended not to glue it, but as I made the housing I noticed that pieces of it got stuck to the background and they didnt have a "Loosen" action. You could still make a spawn engine with it, but it can be stationary.
I believe your ports are in the wrong place. your spark plug should be where the ports are.
it wouldn't work as a combustion engine
only air or steam
it works really accurate!

Go on!;)
This is an AIR engine, like I said in the description. If you actually read it you wouldnt be saying anything about spark plugs lol
This was Felix Wankel's original design. He was trying to make a compressor... But then he noticed that by adding another side to the rotor, the epitrochoid housing would need 3 lobes and it would be useable as a combustion engine.
