A rotary engine design with a rotating valve/spark plug. The parts are as follows:

Inner Circle - Cylinder Block
Outer Circle (with a few parts cut out) - Valve
Small Gold Piece at the Top of the Outer Circle - Spark Plug and Contact
Thin White Piece at Bottom of Housing - Spark Plug Contact

The Blue and Gray Arrows show the flow of air. Blue is intake, Gray is exhaust.

The operation is as follows:

The engine in "zero" position, in between Exhaust and Intake. Both valves are open, but nothing is happening as the piston is not moving.

Beginning of Intake, the piston begins its downwards travel in the rotating cylinder. The exhaust valve is closed. Fuel is drawn in.

End of Intake, the intake valve closes but the piston is no longer moving.

Compression starts, the piston is now in a position where neither valve is open, and the cylinder is pointing against a solid wall.

Ignition, the piston is facing down again (like in zero position) but this time both of the valves are closed. The contact on the spark plug and on the housing line up. The spark plug fires.

Power, the piston moves down and the burning fuel expands.

Exhaust, the exhaust valve opens and the spent fuel is blown out of the cylinder. The 4-Stroke cycle is complete.
