Press the up arrow to power the input. Press the down arrow to brake the input. The chain of circles will work at any length, and also in any shape. The circles are not fixed in place and therefore can be used in moving systems where variable length is desirable, like in a robotic arm for the hand control.

Good idea.
Also, if the cable itself bends while it is rotating, the input and output will still have the same angle.
I know, there's alreay a way to do this with extended hinges, but this may be a much more visually sound way of doing it, as it somewhat resembles a drive cable.
