This Glock 17 gen 2 by my good friend ngphil, was a great platform for a salient arms style Glock mod! I lightened the mass of the slide and added cuts in it, fiber optic front sights, lightened the weight of the recoil spring for more positive ejection and made the barrel gold along with changing the lockup of the barrel. Finally I lengthened the ejector aswell. This is a very popular 1911 mod as it accommodates the change in mass of the slide ejecting the spent case sooner for more reliable and positive extraction.
