I was just screwing around and came up with this. I had no idea what I was doing, and I barely even know how electric motors work. So don't take this too seriously.

In 1200 Hz this thing rotates at over 10,000 RPM!
Oh and it goes 70 km/h up a 75 degree incline. no biggy! :yum:

Actually runs at 300 rad/s on 1200 Hz for me
= 3000 RPM
Oops, added an extra 0! I meant 10,000

I've figured out that the speed varies with different processors
In my pentium4 I've got 100 rad/s at best, but in the new one, I get 300 rad/s at 1x sim time and more than 2000 at 0.1x sim time. Try it!
I get over 2400 with my intel i7 3770k 4.2 Ghz
This is the strongest electric motor that I've seen in Algodoo.
:D yay!
it was a total fluke too!
313 rad/s
at simulation freq 200

100 rad/s
at simulation freq 1200
the engine runs faster at simulation freq 200 :s
no, your computer runs slower. Try putting sim speed at 0.1x and wait
1000 rad/s
at simulation freq 1200 and sim speed 0.1x

strange i get
100% sim time
60 fps
at 1x sim speed
i will post my system stats if you want
It seems I have created the first motor that's speed depends on how fast your computer is?
Yeap I think so!
I made a few spring engines that get really fast. My best one (the only one i posted) gets to 17000 RPM in a few seconds.
