HidCore tried to make a dot matrix display but he was headed in the wrong direction, as his method was using way too many arrays of lasers for each letter. Here is a simpler way to do it without using any lasers at all. This method uses a single array of 35 binary numbers (0 and 1) for each letter of the English alphabet. Detailed instructions are in the scene.

Hi this jcharlesk'S mom. He told me he is having a problem on Algodoo and is sorry if he broke any rules. He is just a kid with a dream to build marble runs. Can we work this out so he can post the stuff he works hard on. Please clarify how he has not followed the rules and we will make sure he does not do that again. Thank you for your consideration.
Hi jcharlesk's mom,

Algodoo is a physics simulation type of program. In other words, it simulates motion and the interaction between objects as they rotate, accelerate, or change other physical properties. Algobox (This website) is a place where people can show off their creations, and also is a place where people can learn new things, and learn different ways of producing various scenes.

Unfortunately, some people, especially new users, use the program as if it were an art drawing program, and then they upload their scenes which display no motion or any kind of physical interactions between objects. For the most part, Algodoo users enjoy downloading other user's creations which they can learn from or simply have fun with them. They typically do not want to take the time to download a scene just to find out that it's a picture of a cartoon character, or someone's new marble creation. The Algodoo servers do not have unlimited space, and so we Admins try to keep certain scenes off the server, especially if they are in violation of the Terms of Service, or if they appear to have no value as an active or interactive scene.

If your son wants to create new types of marbles, rather than show them as a static image, show them actually being used in a marble race, or some other type of action scene. If he does that, then his scenes will not get deleted.

We Admins try our best to keep Algobox a safe and fun website that everyone of all ages can enjoy, and sometimes we have to do things that not everyone will agree to or be happy with, but it's part of our responsibilities. We also enjoy uploading scenes of our own.

Thank you for understanding, and let me know in the future if you have other questions or concerns.

Thank you Xray. We appreciate the time you have taken to respond. JcharlesK understands and will do his best to comply with the details above. Jcharlesk is sorry for the misunderstanding, as he did not see or understand that rule in the terms of service. Thank you for letting him participate. If there are any further issues please feel free to contact me at kopelit@sympatico.ca Thank you.
