If you increase the damping on both springs to 1.00, then it is much more stable. Try it!

Implemented it and it is a lot more stable. Thanks!
Good one! Just wondering, can you make a version that uses the body's angle instead of the distance to the floor? It would be less accurate, but should work

Just make the lasers hit an object that the vehicle carries. However, using that method you encounter a significant problem: As the angle is being corrected you have to take into account that the next measurement will include the already effective angle correction. I haven't been able to solve that one so far.
