I was making this scene to be a marble race parody, and then I realized the balls finish in the same order every single time.

They even get jammed up in the exact same way every time.

I didn't know algodoo was THIS precise. Kind of cool!

That's quite weird! I have tested other scenes for randomness, and they all seem to take a slightly different path each time I ran them.

In a perfect digital world, yes, every ball will move and react exactly the same time after time. But in a properly made simulation program, there is supposed to be some built-in uncertainty in how the physical objects react. So, I cannot explain why this is happening in your scene. I wouldn't call it "cool". I would call it problematic. :bonk:

Yeah, I was actually like "wait a minute, a physics engine that cant do randomness? that's not cool" after I uploaded this scene.

No! It is just not right for me. Most of the marbles came in same positions, but a few didn't. On the third run, some got stuck too.
I'm looking forward to your marble race parody. This is long overdue!
Xray, I was wondering if you could help me out with some simple scripting. I PM'd you the question.
Sure, as I mentioned in my PM to you, it would be best if you upload your scene and describe the parts that don't work, and describe how you would like them to work. Then after I (hopefully) make it work, I'll upload it for you to add to it or make any changes you would like. After you don't need my scene any longer, I will delete it.

How does that sound?

By the way, if it turns out that I am not able to help you, I will give you DOUBLE your money back!
They didnt land in the exact same order for me. At the second time i tested it only the first ten were the same. At 100 Hz they made a totally different order
I thought Algodoo used chaos theory! what.... this is impossible!:D
Ummmmmmmmmm................... THE SCENE IS A LIE
