These clouds look and act very much like the normal Algodoo clouds, with one major (and possibly useful) exception: You can modify them! You can change their velocities, set collision layers, and alter any of their attributes because they are just regular polygons. I don't know how useful they would be, but I'm sure someone will find a use for them.

Anyone is free to use them in their own scenes, and you don't need to give me credit (unless you feel motivated to do so).

Update: Changed name because "Alternative" more accurately describes what they are.

Did you make these by hand or was there some trick to making the clouds the same as the Algodoo clouds?

I made them by hand, using my mouse and the Algodoo polygon tool. I believe they would look a little better, and they would have taken less time to make, if I had one of those drawing boards and pen that draftsmen and artists use for computer input.

There are basically three sizes of clouds (like the three bears) and I simply copied and pasted them a number of times.

These clouds could be used in a prank scene where the clouds are annoying but unchecking clouds on the background widget does not get rid of them.

Unchecking clouds would reduce the number of clouds. And it would be even more frustrating for someone if you put the fake clouds on a different layer where the user would not be able to select them. An inexperienced Algodoo'er would probably go nuts trying to figure out why the clouds are acting so strangely.

Go ahead and make a prank scene if you feel up to it. If done well, it could be hilarious! (unfortunately, we won't be able to see the frustrated looks on people's faces when they try to deal with it!) :lol:

Combining these clouds with Algodoo ones will make a beatiful scene. :tup:

Also, changing the color can inspire you to make a post-apocalypse scene.
