Algodoo

New version of the StuG III, built on a completely new chassis and with a new 7,5 cm gun. I built this before the StuH 42 (and then put a 10,5 cm howitzer on it to build the StuH) but decided that since I already had a StuG III scene up the StuH would be more fun to upload. I've since tweaked this scene, making it more detailed than the StuH 42 uploaded before.

The StuG III, built on the Panzer III chassis as it was turning obsolete, was intended as an assault gun with a low velocity 7,5 cm gun, firing HE rounds at fortifications. It was later fitted with a high velocity gun and used as a tank destroyer.

Toggle movement with left and right arrow keys, toggle brakes by pressing both simultaneously.

Fire gun by pressing enter, drag new cartridge into breech to reload. Round marked with red is HE, be careful when handling. The HE round roughly matches the AP round at 300m where the sights are zeroed.

The casemate is grouped together and easily moved to the back to ease the loading process. The commanders hatch opens if you can get a hold of the handle, the little box on top of the hatch.
