It functioned fairly well, but every now and then an empty casing would "stove pipe". Other than that (and the fact that it's missing the grip safety) you did a good job on it.

How would you operate a grip safety in Algodoo though?

Hey, My 100th scene is coming up, and I want it to be a special one. I am open to just about any ideas, but I want it to be outrageously awesome. any ideas on what I could do?

How 'bout the M134 "minigun" like the one Jesse Ventura blasted the forest with in the movie Predator? (I doubt that any person in real life could carry a few thousand rounds of ammo while holding and shooting a minigun!) The minigun is typically mounted on and fired from a helicopter or from a Hum-Vee. It's an awesome weapon, and I doubt that anyone could make one with Algdoo with the same rate of fire as a real one.

But I could work on it. Miniguns are incredibly simple, but they require, obviously, three dimensions, with rotating parts, a cam slot that pushes the strikers back and releases them at the right time, and ejectors to push the spent cartridges out through the ejection chute. Hard to do with 10 collision groups in two dimensions. I could probably figure something out though.

Yes. Take a look at a gatling gun. A minigun is essentially a chain fed, motorized gatling gun.

the only problem with a gatling gun is that if you motorized it without redesigns, the gravity- fed magazine would never load it, or it would jam on the first round.

Yes, I believe you're right. Every time I watch Predator (I've seen it probably 8 or 10 times) I always wonder where Jesse Ventura keeps the battery to run the minigun motor. I suspect that it's fairly large (I would guess about the size of a motorcycle battery).

The battery is a custom battery located somewhere on the gun itself. It looks a bit like a drum
