Well, here it is. My first gas-operated, selective-fire weapon. I love it
I think it was actually pretty easy to get everything working once everything was tuned correctly. Just the adjustment of the position of a few mechanics and it worked well. It is still in development, but I will let you guys play with this in the mean time. Please be sure to rate the scene accurately and give feedback on anything that needs improvement. You guys rock!
I probably should not need to give instructions on how to use this prototype, as the use is relatively intuitive, but here they are just in case:
Make sure the bolt is locked to the rear before inserting the magazine. Once inserted, unlock the bolt and allow it to ride forward until it locks. Then, switch to the desired firing mode and pull the trigger (or press enter). Jams may occur, but handling them should not be too much of a problem. Once the magazine is emptied, Release it, switch to the "burst" selection, hold enter, and cycle the action twice. This resets the 2-round burst mechanism.
