It's been a long while since my last scene. so here you are!
I never thought that some Algodoo engine would suck so much fuel. Here it is, though.
Controls:
Up - Accelerate
Down - Brake
Right - Hard brake
Up - Clutch
T - Toggle fuel intake (kind of useless, don't ask why it's there.)
F - Spawn Fuel
S - Starter
R - Reverse (pretty strong)

If anyone is wondering why I'm using Algodoo 2.0.2b15 is by Emil's "new rendering pipeline" that needs Anti-Aliasing, and won't work well with my video card.

Added a little light to indicate if you are idling or not. Doubled fuel tank capacity, but I'd reccomend to activate idle anyways, it deactivates when accelerating.

Anyways, who needs fuel economy in Algodoo?

really hard control of the car, remove cluch, you don't need it. Make bigger fuel tank, and make that engine be more economic. I play 7 min but i still don't know how to drive, i start engine and when i press accelerator engine stops running.
Yeah, car stops after about a meter!

I have algodoo 2.1.0 b8 and in that version the car get som strange jitter when engaging the clutch and the car cant move at all! But if i enable show forces and use the make scene more stable it works, really strange and i dont know what causes it but i guess its only in the never versions of algodoo?

Anyway it worked like a charm when using the forces physics mode! Great build and surprisingly powerful fuel Engine! =)
Well, then it doesn't work as intended in 2.1.0. It works OK in the old b15.
Vaidas, maybe try what Christer says, and the clutch is really necessary for starting, although the engine won't stall even if you start with the full clutch. Just don't use it. And if you don't have lag at all, then spawn fuel until compressing it. Maybe I'll make the fuel tank bigger later. This engine kind is less laggedr and has a lot more power than other spawn engines, but well, it needs 1 fuel ball per turn, and it works normally at 500-600 RPM. That's like 3 tanks per minute, and to make a 1000 balls tank is kind of laggy for some people like me.
I'm sorry it doesn't work well in 2.1.0, but it's the "new rendering pipeline" thing what doesn't let me to test it. Algodoo is free now , but unplayable for many.

It is the two clutch hinges that seems to somehow zero out all the velocities of the bodies attached to the car body so that everything exept the Wheels and suspension just dead stops for random updates. Funny thing if i pull the car up into the air and hold up and left arrow the car gets stuck in the air until i let go;)

Easy fix for me with 2.1.0b8 was to just make those two hinges legacymode 0 and it all works like a charm! =)

I suggest you change them since i don't think it affects the performance at all(i can't notice any stretching at all and it goes up to 88Km/h)and it probably is the same problem these other folks have.
