This is my attempt at what I hope to someday make as a striker fired pocket pistol. It features a simple straight pull trigger that releases the striker. The biggest hurdle with the striker fire system is the inertia of the firing pin going forward and setting off rounds before they are chambered. My solution was to create a firing pin block that only allows the firing pin past the breech when the trigger is being pulled. It's still a proof of concept, so thoughts and ideas are welcome :)

This is nice, but there are plenty of striker fire guns on algodoo. i have made one myself. its somewhere in my scenes.

Hey man! Thanks for the comment. The main thing I found wrong with most striker fire guns on algodoo is none of them had a firing pin saftey, so that means the slide could not be moved while a cartridge was chambered. That was my mine task at hand. If you noticed, my guns aren't too pretty. If you could help me on the aesthetics side it would be greatly appreciated:)

You can always make parts invisible and just build a more realistic looking shell around it.
and keep in mind, using squares and circles rather than polygons for your parts will make things a lot more stable and reliable. for example your slide. its made with a polygon so its kind of unstable. your striker mech is pretty good though at taking a closer look at how it works.
