In the Description of my previous scene "LASER INTENSITY CONTROL", I made the statement that it's impossible to control the intensity of a laser with only the laser and Thyme script. Well, I was wrong. I figured out a way that it can be done using two separate keyboard keys. One key controls the laser beam ON/OFF, and the other key controls the "mirror" function, which flips the laser left and right. This method limits how you can use the laser in a scene, and therefore is mostly impractical. But I just wanted to see if it can be done.

Here's how to control the intensity. Press and hold the Left Arrow key, which turns on the beam. Then quickly press the Right Arrow key which will flip the direction of the laser, and the inensity of the beam will slowly cycle from dark to full brightness and then dark again in a repeating cycle. When the brightness of the beam is exactly as desired, just tap the Right Arrow key and the laser will flip back to the other direction, and the beam intensity will stay at one fixed level. You can then turn the beam ON and OFF as often as you want to. If you want to change the intensity again, just tap the Right Arrow key and repeat the procedure.

If anyone thinks they can simplify this even further, be my guest. I will be thoroughly amazed if you can!_o_

No need for scene.my. variables, you can do all you need within laser.
Kilinich - Yes, I agree. That particular variable that I used, scene.my.V, was left over from my previous laser control scene, and I simply re-used the same one. But if I would have taken the time to think about it, then I would have declared a local variable such as _V.

Thanks!
