Good, but I'm going to be picky:

x = A * sin (2 * pi * frequency * t)
where
x = position
A = amplitude
Frequency = frequency of oscillation
t = time (sim.time)

Use url tags for your forum url. Click on the Help link to the right of the emoticons to see how.

s_noonan - I'm not looking for precision or accuracy when I make something move in my scenes (such as fog, or vegitation) because precision and/or accuracy aren't necessary. But you are right to be picky if a movement needed to be precise and accurate, then in that case I would use your script or something similar that allows you to enter values that give oscillations in cycles per second or Hertz.

Thanks for the suggestion to use url tags. I knew I needed to do something other than to copy/paste a url, but I wasn't sure how to do it. :tup:

I like it! :tup:
it gives me quite some progress in my own scripting techniques,
as i tried to find ( upto now in vain ) a nice example about
simulation-time.
Thanks!
