This is something I built that walks using Chebyshev's (I don't know how to pronounce his name) approximate straight line linkage. Controls are left and right (toggled), and enter to destroy the two axles holding it up.

Thanks, I originally built the linkage as just a model of Cebyshev's drawing linkage, but then realized that it would work great for a walking machine/device.

Thanks, there is an options box for the axles that power it, and you can adjust the speed of the walker by adjusting the speed of those 8 axles.
Very impressive. It looks like the vertical movement of the base is only a few hundreths of a meter. :tup:
Thanks, and ya, the vertical movement of the linkage itself only differentiates by just under 1/100th of a meter, and theoretically that should be the same for the walker, but for some reason the walker differentiates by closer to 2/100ths of a meter. That's pretty close though
