A Bugatti with a W16 engine. 16 springs with a max constant of 60000 Nms each one, with -3 dampening and legacyMode 2. A lot of power.
I've worked on this one like a half year. It was my third or fourth car, and I made a bit of it each day, with the other scenes. Last week I've dedicated a bit of my time to this scene and a VW Beetle, with a weak but realistic Boxer.
Now you can make engine brake!

The controls are:

A - Z: Shift gear (R-N-1-2-3-4-5-6-7)
UP: Accelerator
DOWN: Brake
SHIFT: RWD/AWD Drive
S: Starter

Rate and comment. No track because this car was made for speed! 220 KM/H max! It could make more speed if geometries could spin faster than 157.08 rad/s.
If you find some bug, tell me! I'll fix it.

v2: Less jittering, same speed, corrected some details, more details down the skin. Checked engine trouble, bad connection fixed, added automatic engine brake (not scripted) to able engine brake, simplified shifting script.

Awesome scene! however, for me the car was really twitchy and jittery. Also the tachometer shoots up to around 600 by itself. not sure if that's normal.

Great scene anyways. really fun to play with! :tup: :lol:

It could spin, just set legacyMode=0 for connected hinge and re-build transmission :tup:

lethalsquirl: Yes, the front wheel sometimes bury into the ground a bit and gets out, and if you accelerate much without any gear the engine explodes. And the tachometer isn't failing for me, maybe I'll revise it later. What Algodoo version are you using? The angVel reader script is only for 2.0.2 b15.
Anyways, thanks! I'll try to make it better.

Kilinich: when you accelerate in neutral? I'll change the legacyMode to the engine, but he first 3 gears of the transmission have legacyMode 1 because they spin slowly, and they have to do most strenght. I'll see that as soon as I can.

the rpm doesn't move for me and there is not indication if engine is on
