A and D to control it. Holding both at once will cause the engine to stall, and must be restarted by spinning one of the flywheels.

In all my other collision engines I've been plagued by the same problem. The torque generated would cause whatever the engine was attached to to flip over. One day, whilst harmlessly sleeping in class, I had a flash of insight!
I could have two cylinders, each causing a gear/flywheel to rotate in opposite directions. The 2 gears would be meshed so that they are in sync. This way, and two turning forces would balance eachother out and make for a much more stable engine.
Ever since, I've been trying to connect the engine to a gearbox, but all of the (mechanical) gearboxes I've made can't handle the speed. I half gave up on it, and posted this little spidey walker instead. I used a bunch of circle gears (thanks Kilinich/Conundrumer!) to reduce the speed and increase the power and hooked it up to some Klann linkages.
Does not use any motors.
49 bodies
125 geometries
64 hinges
The engine itself fits in a 1x1 metre box.
Anyway, enjoy.
