A real automatic knife! Not very strong, but reproducing the real mechanism! To see it, make the black box opacity to 0.

Good cutting! :)

very well recreated. I see if uses a double action system (like a microtech). I've got a Scarab which uses the same system. If you could find a way to speed up the blade deployment (other than increasing the sim-speed) that would be a cool.

Also, it would be cool if you didnt use a scripted spring to move the button, if instead you made it possible to move manually (and have the knife function). I'm all for computer controls, but I like to be able to do them with the drag tool too sometimes, more realistic that way.
also, the sears don't seem to catch as well as they could, the tolerances are a little loose, there's a lot of horizontal bladeplay.
Thanks for your looong comment.:) But at first I made a manual system, but it wasn't strong enough. So I opted for an script. The low speed is due to the spring, it is not powerfull, but I had to do it like this because otherwise, the system breaks.

I'll work on a new design, faster and stronger and maybe automatic.:)
