This is a hard drive using lasers. The interface terminals are the tabs on the bottom. See forum post for more information.
To write to the disk, set the color of the leftmost terminal to the data you want to write, the red value of the second-to-left terminal to the sector you want (0-30), the green value of the second-to-left terminal to the track (0-2), and the blue value of the second-to-left terminal to 4. When the blue value becomes 3, the write has completed.
To read from the disk, set the red value of the second-to-right terminal to the sector, the green value to the track, and the blue value to 2. When the blue value is 1, the read is complete and the results can be read from the rightmost terminal.
WARNING:
DO NOT STORE 0, 0, 0 IN ANY SECTOR.
THIS WILL RESULT IN THE DISK BECOMING UNREADABLE! |
