I like them. They look pleasingly smooth and organic.

Would these work better than normal gears?
@s_noonan: Sweet thanks alot man!
When I disable the motors in upper or lower gears, 5 sided one is the only one that doesn't jam :s
@Hellaboy - No, these would not work better than normal gears. Normal gears have rolling contact between gear teeth. These need to be driven synchronously to avoid sliding contact and high contact forces. Cycloidal rotors are typically used in rotary pumps. If I was able to gearify the perimeter correctly, then maybe they could be used as gears.

@davidz - These are not meant to be used as gears.

Amazing _o_ I like these rotors because they are used as pumpsor flowmeters :tup:
EDIT: How you made these rotors ? :s _o_

Very nice:tup: these are used in the Roots type superchargers, mostly the 2 and 3 lobed versions, in actual practice they are geared together and dont actualy touch each other or the housing they run in, very close tollerance stuff great for pumping air, also refered to as blowers VAROOOMM 10/10
@Gear97: I made a general solution in a spreadsheet with nominal radius and number of lobes as inputs. The output was datapoints in the Algadoo polygon format which I copied and pasted into a polygon saved in a .phn file.
