My First real chaingun. It took a few hours to make and a lot of trial and error. Im pretty new to algodoo so please let me know what you think. Also it might lag on some slow computers because there is a lot of ammo, so just shoot some out of it and save over file if you want a gun that lags less.

UPDATE: Fixed the jamming issue that one person had. If it still jams let me know, although I've shot many rounds and it never once jammed. Also added an extra ammo belt so you can select all and save as a phunlet. Once the phunlet is loaded just place it around the ammo drum and the gun will automatically grip it for easy reloading.

Feel free to use this gun on any vehicles just please give credit to "AngryOscar" because it really did take a while to make. Thank You

Comments and Ratings are appreciated.

67 downloads... any oppinions?
Yes, I has an opinion. It gets jammed when I try to fire it; I suggest reducing the impulse break limit on the bullet hinges, and decreasing the friction on the large circle that the ammo is wrapped around.

Other than that small snafu, it is a great concept and I really like your ammunition storage method; I've never seen that before. Well done, and nifty chain gun!
well thanks for the advice. I'll lower the friction around the ammo drum. Strange that it jams for you, I've fired sever hundred rounds (made a phunlet of just the ammo for easy reloading) and mines NEVER jammed. I'm running v1.7.1 of Algodoo. I'll re-upload it with a few minor tweaks and an extra round of ammo on the side so you can select it and make a phunlet.
I like it. Here's a tip, lower the friction a bit on the ammo drum and it will jam less.

Thats the only criticism i have 9/10
I did.... is it still jamming for you guys? hmmm... mine hasnt jammed yet. Thank you
It's stopped jamming mostly. I think that it's a Algodoo version compatibility error--I have 1.8.5, and this cannot be fixed.

10/10!
oh thank you very much..... you said "10/10" but only rated 9 lol.. ohwell.. thank you. I just wish Algodoo wouldnt lag so much. and I KNOW its not my computer. I got over 3k into this computer

Quite simple, but good. TRY OUT MY PISTOL xD
Yup, the lag is a result of Algodoo, it lags on my PC even with 4gb ram; and I have nowhere near as much invested in it:)

And I did press the wrong button; sorry, now I can't change it! Oh noes!:(

Its all good. yeah I'm running core i7 extreme, OC 4ghz, 12 gb ddr3 1600 RAM, HD 5870 and a bunch of other goodies. Theres no way a 2D physics simultor should lag...lol. I can't wait for multi core support.
So much for my Pentium 4...:)
I can't wait till multi-core support either
Whoo! amazing! sometimes it fires in a "shotgun blast" rather than an MG.

AMAZING!

10/10

p.s. my computer stinks, 6.4% real time  and my first gun used a fail spring:bonk: :bonk:
Great work! It just is a little unstable but works good for me! Maybe you should use Autobrake in the hinges linking each link:)
You can also disable the autobrake on the whell of the amoo belt :)
But I like chainguns ! 10/10
HAVE A NICE DAY !
thanks. I put a weak auto break on the ammo drum because somtimes if you shot too many rounds at once thtey would just spin and act weird. What makes it unstable for you? Is it still jamming for some people? :s
Im working on a really sweet project but I'm having some issues with it. I need sombody who is a pro to take a look at it and maybe give some advice. Wheres Paradigm 29 or Kilinich when you need them lol. I dont want to post the current project until its fixed tho. Its using a pring engine and circle friction gears for the drivetrain, I think my problen has to do with the friction or density settings but I'm not sure.... I need help! Any pros out there that want to take a look at it?
