This kinda simulates flight. The plane climbs slower than it dives, and the forward speed is faster in a dive than a climb. The plane also buffets around and the controls arent too positive to further simulate flight.

You can zoom in to check out the fine detail but I would stay around 0.09 zoom and have the ground near the bottom of the screen while still on the runway so you can see the ground at all times.
You can set follow object on the plane but it seems better this way to me.

Hit the space bar to start the sim, check the sim info for the realism% speed, you may have to erase the water from the dam if it lags too much but if you hit the B key(for base) it will erase the base and should get rid of some lag so maybe you can leave the water. I erase the base right after take off and the sim speed on my computer is about 70% with water and base, it goes to 90-100% by erasing the base and not the water.
Hit the right key to go to full power(power is set to toggle with the right key), and the up key to lift off. Then hit the L key to raise the landing gear(landing gear is set to toggle with the L key).

You fly first to the first target, an anti aircraft gun, the sky is filled with flak. You only have 3 bombs so I wouldnt waste more than 1 on it, the bombs drop with the 1, 2, and 3 keys. After you clear the flak field you can erase the flak scene and gain some sim speed if is still lagging by hitting the A key(for anti aircraft).

Now climb as high as you can to clear the mountain and desend quickly to avoid more flak and drop your bombs(1 2 3 keys) on the factory and the dam. Then pull up quickly to clear the next mountain the desend quickly, kill your power(right key) and lower your landing gear(L key). Touch down as quick as you can because its a short runway then hit the brakes(S key) for stop.
