Far too complex, and controls are really difficult. I made landing gear with < 20 pieces that works just as well, and can handle any amount of weight.

Dare: There is nothing of complex here, there are only three main controls: up, down and lock. Maybe I didn't have to write that "poem" in the scene but I like to explanate the things I do. I made it more realistic possible, not the simplest possible. For example, try to see the MD80 landing gear, it is very similar. The weight limit is due to the spring constant, it is adjusted to work well with 25 tons weight, but you can change the constant as you want...

Dare :: perhaps for the purpose of using it in a plane, the controls are a bit much. However this is a demonstration, you can easily work it without thinking about other controls

Thanks you, Dare and Lenny95. As you know, in the real airplane these main functions (gear doors, unlocking, oil pumping, locking) are automatic and operated with one lever, exept for emergency controls.

Kilinich: I know, it is a problem... Unfortunately I made the linkage so heavy to make it more stable. As you know, the low density objects, as the hinges on them, aren't very stable in algodoo, if I understood right, this is a program bug (or something similar). I could not find a good solution to make it lightweight...

it's not a bug, it's like hinges works. I bet you can make it lighter if spend more time on tests and left only necessary objects with high density (sorta real engineers did =)

Awesome, I tested it with a realistic weight (320 tonnes) and it works perfectly.
