A newer version of my other crossbow. This crossbow has un-stretchable joints for the bowstring chain instead of hinges, but it doesn't use any polygons, so there's much less lag than some other un-strechable chains. This crossbow also uses a custom variable, so no importing as a phunlet.
It's pretty much the same as my other crossbow, except it's much, much better. Like with my automatic pistol (and KarateBrot's javelin), this crossbow has three settings for the Hz. 100, 300, and 600, and they're switched by hitting CTRL+ALT+3/4/5.
How to Use:
Pull the black ball joint back untill it touches the blue block.
Grab an arrow and put it into the crossbow.
Pull it back a little, let go, and it'll get into position on its own.
Press enter/return to fire, and repeat. |
... Do you have the simulation running at a low frequency? It breaks most of the time at 100 Hz, but it never broke for me at 600 Hz. Try hitting Control, Alt and 5 (the 5 that's above the letter keys) all together to put the simulation at 600 Hz, and see how it is then.
