I figured why it self destructed.

step 1:select cannon barrel and move to back.
step 2:erase fixate on black shot maker
step 3:turn around the black shot maker
step 4:refixate the black shot maker to the barrel
step 5:move barrel to the front

so basically, it was on backwards.:bonk:
