Printer based now on springs. Much more faster and accurate. Let me know if it works to you.

UPDATE: I've made an external program to convert an image into variables that can be copied to the console. You can convert the image you want, but you must first resize it to 100x150. The program is available for download here:

10/10
i wish i could give more

Ever thought about spawning as a way to print?
Works OK for me with Algodoo v1.7.1. 10/10
awesome !!!!
This will Start the Computer craze again._o_
Enjoyed. :*)
è bellissimo... ma come hai fatto????????
10/10
how did you??
It's very simple, basically the printer gets a certain position from a vector of positions, and then the printer head is moved to that position. When the printer head detects that it's in that position, with an error of less of a certain value, it spawns a circle and jumps to the next position, and so on. The hardest part was to adjust stregth and damping of the springs, to make it fast, but not as fast as to make it unstable.

very cool _o_ _o_
Very good!I think it's possible to make it much faster and print whole letters like matrix one. :y
you think it might be possible to just spawn at a certain position, incase of moving an arm to that position and spawn a ball?
so, it just gets spawned there, incase of moving a box to that position
I like it! Awesome!!

chuck norris????
the link is broken, please upload it again
THIS SCENE IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! I want to try to make a multi-head printer like a real ink-jet printer. And as Kilinich noted, it should go much faster.

EXCELLENT JOB! I WOULD RATE THIS SCENE 100 IF I COULD.

(Unfortunately, that "yousendit" link in the OP is no longer valid)
