Here is a cannon that is able to be used with gravity and air. It however has a bug where on 1/4 test runs it shoots the projectile backwards at over 10 times the speed of light.(literally)

THIS WEAPON FIRES UPTO 13 TIMES THE SPEED OF LIGHT! WILL NOT COLLIDE UNDER SUCH CONDITIONS! WHILE IT IS THE FASTEST CONSISTENT CANNON I KNOW OF, IT IS ACTUALLY USELESS FOR ALGODOO SHIPS. THERE MAY BE A WAY OF CAUSING COLLISIONS AT THIS SPEED, AND IF YOU FIND ONE PLEASE TELL ME.

Continually retested with consistent results. Cannon will accelerate the projectile within 50 m/s of 2000 m/s.

Using the actual technology of a Gauss Cannon also called a Coil Cannon.

The actual cannon is not fixated, meaning you can attach it to a ship with minimum recoil, assuming the ship is made well. I have not fully tested this accept for speed. Future modification will come, but I do not know to what extent.
