Start driving the car and then set the cruise control.

Applying the brakes disables the cruise control.

Speedometer by author "Divide By Zero"

Uses lasers and scripts.

Not too exciting but "under the hood" the cruise control uses PID feedback control to apply just enough motor torque to maintain the speed. The speedometer also employs a motor with feedback control to control its position. The car can be driven without using cruise control, in which case you will probably need to use the brakes when going downhill.

keep it up!

oh, and a tip for if you might want to improve something in it, maybe make it work with an AE engine (non hinge-motor engine)
so you throttle with a clutch or something like that (im gonna try that now)

Cool, appreciate the credit, too bad the scene doesn't work for me because I don't have algodoo.
