Well, I would've liked this to have worked first try, but unfortunately, it didn't, so, I spent today trying to find the fix for it, but it's not quite working, and I ended up with this, which I don't think exactly works to plan, I have the log of my work in the scene (most of it) in the description for the scene (missing a few versions that I didn't re-write the log for after I loaded some scenes and undid), the documentation of creating the mechanisms is found at the lower part of the screen (most of the data isn't included, like small calculations and codes, but you should be able to see basically how I made what I did by combining the log and the data at the bottom of the screen (or underneath the mechanism)).

I tested this scene at 10,000 Hz (not sure whether it needs that, probably not, forgot to change it back).

I will keep trying to fix the problem up until the last minute, but until then, all I have is this.... er.... wonderful.... display of skill.... er.... of drawing a bauble.... with shine on it... that is all <_< .

Anyway, I would actually like to thank you for getting me to do this, it's something I've always wanted to learn how to do, and a contest like this one was the motivation to do it, I haven't quite learned how to do it yet, but I sure have made a ton of progress (I think I may be able to copy the original persons mechanism to write a "2", to test which system works the best, then I'll be able to know when the mechanism I've built has a mistake in the vital area (at the moment, I just have to assume it doesn't or I have to build all the possible combinations)).

I would like to thank Tatt for letting me know that the article I was reading (http://mikumikulab.sblo.jp/article/25071848.html) said nothing about how to connect the bars or the method of connecting the two points, I also realised what to do while talking to Tatt:).
Anyway, I'd better get onto trying to fix this entry (I thought I only had one hour left before I realised I'm in GMT+11 at the moment not GMT+10, which gives me an hour more, so, until 7pm:)).

Quite a shame it hasn't worked the way it should as of yet, but thanks anyway (if you know a lot about how to do this, would you just give me a hint, I'd be very grateful if you did  ):).

I sure hope I don't win the contest with this entry here:), but at least you have something to go on.
