A simple tank. It uses a chain that doesn't stretch like regular chains, and it's fairly difficult to break.

Controls:
Left/Right - Move Tank
Down - Brakes

This is just a simple tank to demonstrate the treads, it can be made much more versatile if you make the connecting rod fold in the middle with some kind of shocks holding it up.

(Anyone know how to keep objects from going through each other? This chain would be perfect otherwise.)

good idea, but not really difficult to break. They broke at 150 rpm on bigger wheel (and 300 on smaller accordingly)
Another problem is lag - it runs at 30% realtime for me:/

In algodoo, chains don't really stretch that much, and they don't break nearly as easily, and they don't lag anything like that one does. I don't see anything good about those treads. Even in Phun, I'd consider a regular chain better than that thing.
