Take a look at this. Do you see an upward-pointing triangle? Actually, that triangle doesn’t really exist; it’s just an illusion. You only see it because of the three 'Pac-Man' shapes with their mouths facing a sharp angle and how their angles and positions relate to each other. If you remove some of the shapes, you’ll 'stop seeing' that upward triangle.
