MARBLE INFO:

elements 104-118 are not included in the race due to being too radioactive to be photographed, and would all need to just be a picture of their atom.

some elements' pictures on their respective marble are not of themselves due to lack of photography, francium (Fr) and astatine (At) are both too radioactive to be photographed. the ores uraninite (as francium) and autunite (as astatine) can contain their atoms in small quantities. fermium (Fm) is of an alloy of ytterbium (Yb) and fermium, due to lack of photography.

elements hydrogen (H), helium (He), nitrogen (N), oxygen (O), neon (Ne), argon (Ar), krypton (Kr), and xenon (Xe) are all colorless, gaseous elements and are shown in discharge tubes, electrified and glowing because they cannot be seen otherwise. radon (Rn) is depicted as a white gas due to it being a colorless gas, and too radioactive to be put in a discharge tube.

some elements like radium (Ra), actinium (Ac) and einsteinium (Es) are so radioactive that they were stored in bottles in their picture. bromine (Br) was stored in a bottle too, but only because it is a liquid at room temperature. rubidium (Rb) and caesium (Cs) were stored in ampules because of their reactivity and were in liquid forms.

promethium (Pm) is in a small amount on a dish because it is too radioactive to be seen as a solid chunk of itself.

elements mendelevium (Md) nobelium (No) and lawrencium (Lr) are of their atoms because they are too radioactive to be photographed.
