"Hell In Space" is a 2D space shooter game that I made a long time ago. I discontined further making this game when I started developing the "Among us but battle royal" game until now.

You are in a Triangle Spaceship with guns, surrounded by enemies in a space battlefield, the gamemode is Endless and it is free for all, you have to destroy enemies while not getting yourself killed by enemy fire, you have to use space debris as cover to avoid enemy fire to survive.

This game is inspired by a Arcade Game: Asteroids (1979 Atari) but without the Asteroid Desroying part and UFOs.:)

KEYBOARD CTRLS:
(W,S)- TO THRUST BACK OR FRONT
(A,D)- TO TURN LEFT OR RIGHT
(SHIFT)- TO FIRE CANNONS

I just wanna point out that this game has its own GUI, so I recommend to hide your GUI/menu by pressing TAB in your keyboard.

Also, this game might be Resource Intensive in your device so if you want, play this game at your own risk.

\Update logs//

Update v1.1:

- Upgraded the ship with "Anti spin technology"

- Added a ship direction indicator.

Wow, nice job! You are very talented.

The only thing I didn't like in the game was the fact that I had a lot of trouble getting my spaceship to move in the correct direction. If it starts to spin, then forget it! It's like that old arcade game called "Computer Space". You had to rotate the spaceship to steer it, and then give it proper thrust. It was amazing technology in the early 1970's and because of that, people had trouble learning how to control it. Other than that, you did a great job on the scene.
Thank you so much, Xray.

Glad you like it. :)
Have to agree with Xray, the direction of the main ship is pretty hard to read when not staring right at it, which happens when wanting to gather the surroundings. Perhaps have a laser or two attached to the player?
@UnityDogGaming04

Noted.
Nice improvement to the player spaceship!
If anyone is interested, this is a link to a YT video that shows an old arcade game from 1971 called Computer Space: video on youtube

The game had horrible low-resolution graphics (compared to today's graphics) but to those of us who played the game back then, it was amazing. The electronic circuit boards in the machine were mostly analog. There were no computers or microprocessors. How do I know that? I owned my own Computer Space arcade game that my boss gave to me when it no longer made any money at the bowling alley where it was installed.

Nice work Oga. I'm going to try building a simple computer.
bubblestheblob -- You should contact user "Little". She is very good at building and coding computer systems with Algodoo.
