Inspired by Portal and Half Life by Valve
Extra inspiration goes to UnityDogGaming04's Venge series

Swap! is a platformer puzzle game -- as an AI model, EB-551, your task is to complete your challenges and become the first model to complete the course, before being deployed worldwide... or so you're told.

The main game mechanic that this touches on is being able to "swap" to another player body -- hence the name!
Some bodies even have special features...
Overall I'm really happy with how this came out!

Some of you may have noticed the strange looking shapes with patterns on them in some of my other scenes and may notice them here -- if you were wondering, they were originally made for this scene to serve as puzzle blocks!

2017 - 2025 Little (Game On!)
This project has been in development for a long time, but the vast majority of that time was trying to figure out how to cram everything into one scene without Algodoo just dying on the spot -- my apologies!

UPDATE: Added alternate ending, fixed a few visual bugs and improved some stuff relating to level loading

UPDATE 2: Replaced all mechanical sticky buttons with scripted ones (the same ones that I included in the sandbox) -- these are more reliable and take far less force to activate! They should lag less, too.:D

dude this is pretty good
also how long did it took you to make this?
I started working on Swap! in late 2023.
1 or2 years?! thats crazy
To be fair though, most of that time was spent completely forgetting about Swap, and most of the time that was spent on Swap even then was trying to make it so that the entire thing could be one scene and not the game itself.
i did the bad ending in 102 secs
good ending in 123 secs
i did it again in 99 secs in bad ending and
119 secs in good ending
97 secs on bad ending
118 secs on good
For some reason, the turrets werent even shooting: I was able to complete the game with barely any challenge (well, except the hoverboard part)

Is this some sort of performance related issue, some coding error, or does the game hate me?:(
That's certainly strange, the turrets seem to work fine for me!
I just made a "TAS" of the good ending of this game in 115 seconds.
beat u by 1 second
I'd be fascinated to learn how the TAS works!
literally just slowing the game down to 0.3x speed and pressing space twice to create an undo point that I can undo to.
also I did it at 200hz.
This reminds me of the pen and ink world from The Multi-Medium.
THE CAKE IS REAL
This is awesome! I thought of a spinoff game called "EB-550's Epilouge"! With 8 different worlds! your goal is to defeat Kathy. I'm not actully making it. But it's a good idea, though. Right?
