So, I decided to make a phunlet for everyone who's in need of a small spring engine! This thing can run as low as 120hz and doesn't need you to paste any code to perfectly run. Only thing you may want to modify are the controls, which currently are...
CONTROLS:
Enter: toggle on/off engine
Right key: toggle idle/full throttle
To start it simply drag either direction you want it to spin.
I left some axle menus there so you can customize the controls. The throttle is toggled to idle/full because I thought that was probably what most people would need, if you want to change the key just do that, if you want to make it controlable, remove the toggle option of each direction and put two different keys (like left and right) do NOT remove the self-brake option or else it will blow up.
Engine collisions are A and B, you can change that with the arrow options in the collision menu after you selected the entire engine.
You can delete the entire green decoration if you select any part of the exterior and move it, it will automatically select each decoration and delete it and leave you with the pure engine.
You might want to tinker with the throttle torque and the red spring constant if you plan in increasing the frequency if you want more revolutions, but I think it's fine as it is for this frequency.
to connect it to a machine, simply connect the engine flywheel to whatever device with a really low hingeconstant axle and you should be good to go (I will make a tutorial if I get a request for one!)
