Uses same method as T_Reißig's scene with the following changes:
1. Gear tooth shortened by one light particle diameter.
2. Light reflection has zero offset.
5. 300 m/s was 30 m/s.

Nicely done. The scene is interesting and educational.
Thanks. Most of the credit goes to T_Reißig. I just improved the accuracy and added the formulas.
Thanks for uprading my scene!
The gear actually rotating looks way better than my clunky teleporting teeth. :D Also nice, that you took the time to go through the formulas.
How exactly did you create the gear though?
Q: How did you create the gear?
A:
1. Make ring by subtracting small circle from big circle.
2. Rotate and cut the ring in 15° increments.
3. Delete every other segment of the ring to make the gear.
4. Create a small circle inside the ring.
5. Glue circle and teeth together.
6. Add a hinge to the center of the circle.
7. Motorize the hinge.
