I finally got to making an even better Foddy climber based on that information I learned with one of my walkers. Basically, now it's possible to (if you edit the _range local variable in the black circle) exert as much lateral force as you want, no matter how far the mouse is away from the body, something that wasn't possible with the old spring IK system. Along with that, I've also added a gentle mode and strength mode, which basically change the strength of the paw/manipulator/foot/whatever you wanna call it, as long as you're holding the corresponding key.
The scene's got two demos to play with these features. Hold Q and touch the black boxes to light them up. The force is reduced enough so that you shouldn't get pushed around while you press the buttons. Hold E and push up against the 200kg mass, get them reps in!
Update 3.0.1: Set paw to *not* collide with water, so that It can collide with other collision layer A objects that have no self collision. Set paw's restitution to 0 to stay faithful to the original Venge climber and reduce strange collision behavior with polygons.
