So I am working on polygons that can dent on collison, the way this is supposed work is that
on the collide event, find which vertice is closest to the collision and then deform it with the ones around it, but since the surfaces are acting funny that wont work as the surfaces are stuck at [[[0, 0], [1, 0], [1, 1], [0, 1]]] and wont change while the actual geometry is changing
please help

Take a look at a scene that I recently posted: Melting Polygons

It shows how to make polygons appear to change shape over time, but in actuality what's happening is the polygons are being redrawn very rapidly over and over again. So, what you see is similar to an animation. As far as I know, this is the only way you can make a polygon appear to change shape. It must be modified and redrawn (or re-spawned).
I've posted a few other polygon generator scenes over the years that might interest you. Search on the word "polygon" with my username to find them. You are welcome to use any of my code. I stole..... um, I mean borrowed most of it from other talented users.

I looked at your code and I only needed to use (readable(owner)).surfaces instead of just surfaces. Thanks!
