This is a fun little scene I made in my spare time
On the left is a radio tower, and on the right is a small antenna.
Clicking SEND on the radio terminal should send the data in the data box (Binary only!) to the antenna.
The interesting thing though is that the radio terminal and the antenna have no direct means of communication. There's no scene.my, no lasers, and no springs connecting the two.
Instead, the radio tower actually works via attraction!
On the antenna itself, you can see the data it has picked up as well as the current status of the radio.
LIMITATIONS
Due to being attraction based, the antenna does not have infinite range, hence why this scene is in a box.
As well, due to floating point errors, if the antenna is too far from the origin it may start recieving a nonexistant transmission of only 1s.
If I were to redo this scene, I would probably change a few things, as well as allowing other types of data (like letters) to be transmitted. Although I'd still have to send the letters in binary, so I'd likely have to have some sort of flag bit at the beginning of the transmission
This is in no way practical, this has all of the problems of scene.my and more, so I wouldn't use this unironically, lol.
Have phun, and enjoy!
UPDATE: Added live resyncing to the antenna! Now it should keep a signal if it's moved around during a transmission.
