Follow the instructions in the status bar at the bottom of the widget.
Use slow mouse clicks.
The widget determines the angle between two lines as shown in the points selection frame.
If you still have difficulty, then please be more specific.

Well, Im trying to click the enable button, but nothing happens, atleast I am not seeing any changes.

When clicking, press down for about 1 second.
Clicking the Enable button should make the button appear sunken and the button caption should change to "Disable". The status bar should display "Click first point.". The above should work with the simulation paused or running.

That sounds pretty easy, but I tried it several times (sim running/not running, up to 5 seconds of holding vs. short clicks) and I get no reaction...
Dont know if its me and my brain or the machine though. :bonk:

For what it's worth, the scene works for me but the timing is somewhat erratic. i.e., sometimes the button responds rather quickly and sometimes it takes a few seconds to respond. The timing may be slightly erratic, but it always works.

You are doing the right thing, but the right thing is not happening. Algodoo is not working the way we expect. I would try resetting Algodoo at this point. You can do that by selecting the gear icon in the top menu, then click the reset tab, then pressing the "Reset Configuration ..." button.

Would be great if it automatically drew some lines between the positions you clicked at, that selfdelete after measurement. Is something like this possible?

That's a good idea and it's possible, but I'm not sure if or when I would make that change.
