If you play around with appearance settings you will get bright shiny things, and this is how to do it
Any Hue, 100 S (saturation), over 100 V (brightness), under 100 A (opacity),and alot of edge blur
The high brightness causes it to sorta have a gradient at shades in the blurred edges.
