This is an interesting way to help students understand one of the many concepts of trigonometry functions known as Sine and Cosine. The fact that Sine and Cosine plots can form interesting curves makes these functions useful to people who create Algodoo scenes with Thyme scripting. I have used sine and cosine in many of my own scenes that required moving objects in a circular pattern without the use of axles or other mechanical means!

Thyme trig functions work with radians, not degrees.

Yes, I know that but for most people, it's easier to think in terms of 360 degrees in a circle rather than 2Pi radians. It certainly was easier for me when learning math in high school.

Thanks for the suggestions.
The plots are running 57.3 times faster than circle pointer since 1° is being interpreted as 1 radian.

Darn, you are right! I'll correct that. Thanks again.

Thank you.
um i saw your scene that its called quick list of rules and why its says 2023?
I transported to the future and uploaded that scene in 2023.

Just kidding. By forcing the scene date to be some distant time period, it ensures that the scene will remain posted for a long period of time. It's known as a "sticky" scene because it will stick around for a long time in the number 1 or 2 position.

كيف يعمل هذا؟
ProfessionalSudo -- I don't understand what you are asking. You asked me "How does it work?" but I don't know what "it" is.
what is the game showing i donnot understand
It is not a game. It is a demonstration of how the math functions known as sine and cosine can create interesting curves when the input is a circle that generates numbers between 0 and 360 degrees. It's just a tool that teachers can use in a math class for teaching basic trigonometry.
ah i see so is random?
No, not random. Do you understand what sine and cosine are? If not, then search them on Google for an explanation.
i see i searched and this come up "The sine and cosine of an acute angle are defined in the context of a right triangle" i understand now
but i do not know alot about this as i am only 9th grades
i also put new games so check out if you want
