Imagine if you took one cubic meter of space on Earth, and zoomed in on it. You could see that space on Earth is definetly full of stuff. There are molecules bouncing and vibrating, atoms changing energy states constantly, and on the quantum level, electrons and photons that interact with other particles. Let's look for some REAL empty space, shall we? Let's go to deep space, there is really nothing here, or is there? Let's do the same thing we did back on Earth, take one cubic meter of space and zoom in on it. This time, it might look like there is nothing here, exept there is. You see, there is at least one hydrogen atom in every cubic meter of space, not to mention radiation in the form of photons is bouncing around too, as well as a couple electrons, not only that, but if we managed to remove every single thing from that same cubic meter of space, there would still be something left. Quantum fluctuations, that are caused by particles that vibrate fields of space. Besides, these vibrations still happen if we took away the particles to cause them. So there you have it, it is IMPOSIBLE to make the perfect vacum.

Great explanation, JP! Your scenes are not only educational, but they are also quite entertaining!

I spend a lot of time trying to find a topic, either one that has been done, or one that I would really like to make! In any case, thanks!:D
Here's one I was planning on doing but never did. Be my guest if you would like to tackle it as an Algodoo scene: Einstein's Equivalence Principle.

If I were going to do it, I would show a ragdoll man standing in a rocket (with no windows) in deep space (micro gravity). The rocket would accelerate at 9.8 M/S^2 (same as gravity acceleration on Earth). While accelerating, the man would not know if he was in space accelerating in a rocket, or if he was standing in a stationary rocket on the ground here on Earth. I think that would be a great science lesson!

If you decide to make such a scene, then I will not. If you do not, then I might do it within the next couple of years.

I might, but i reached the daily limit of scenes. Maybe tomorow...;)
maybe it's easier to do the opposite? showing someone actually in 0 g and someone under the influence of gravity in a sealed container plummeting down to earth(or in a controlled condition)? It's still the same.
I have to wonder if usable energy can be extracted from this ambient noise?
